HAWAII CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL HOLDS BENEFIT CONCERT SERIES TO SUPPORT HUGS AND OTHER LOCAL CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS

HONOLULU – HUGS (Help Understanding & Group Support), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Hawaii’s families with seriously ill children, will be collaborating with Hawaii Chamber Music Festival (HCMF) for a concert to benefit HUGS at Tiny Pyramid on June 17, 2023.
HCMF is once again holding their Ellen Masaki Ohana Series June 14 – 24, dedicated to legendary local pianist Ellen Masaki. The chamber music series will showcase a variety of world-renowned musicians while also featuring local collaborations, and each concert will benefit a different local non-profit organization and is sponsored by Kahala Hotel & Resort, Kaimana Beach Hotel, Alaska Airlines, Luxury Row, Inpac Wealth Solutions and more.
“An Evening in Paris” in collaboration with HUGS will be held on June 17 at Tiny Pyramid with a four-course French dinner will classical French performances including Havanaise by Camille Saint-Saëns and Cello Sonoata, L. 135 by Claude Debussy. Performing artists include Jonathan Korth, piano; Charissa Leung, violin; Michael Nicolas, cello; Natalia Santaliz, soprano, Colin Ramsey, bass-baritone; Christina Pezzarosi, mezzo soprano; and Shiqi Xu, piano. The event starts at 7pm and guest will have from two four-course meals to select from. Ticket are $250 for two people and includes dinner and the performance. Non-alcoholic beverages are include, alcohol is BYOB.
