Thank you for your interest in choosing to name HUGS as a designated charity of an event. HUGS' success depends on the initiative and support of businesses, large and small, as well as individuals. Each dollar that you raise will support families from the time of their child's initial diagnosis of a serious illness, during treatment and beyond. We are grateful for your desire to host a special event and designate proceeds or donate a percentage of sales to HUGS. Past events have included golf tournaments, charity walks, new store or restaurant openings, in-store promotions, chef's dinners, galas, bake sales, birthday fundraisers, and more.

Whatever kind of event you’re planning, your event will have a direct impact on the lives of Hawaii’s seriously ill children and their families.

To assist you, HUGS is able to:

  • Provide a letter of authorization confirming your intent to raise funds for HUGS, if needed

  • Post your event on our events calendar at or through social media

  • Provide brochures or other informational materials on HUGS, as needed

  • Write and send tax receipt letters for donations made payable directly to HUGS. Donations may be mailed to:
