Give a Hug and Pass it On

What if we could share our aloha to make the world better, one hug at a time? HUGS for Hawaii's Seriously Ill Children and Their Families, believes together, we can.

Join our Hugs4HUGS Campaign and share the universal power of a hug with a loved one or stranger. And make a donation to help Hawaii's families who face emotional and financial hardships due to caring for a seriously ill child.

Post a photo or video of you giving a hug on Facebook or Instagram. Tag @HUGShawaii and use #hugs4HUGS and in turn tag a friend to do the same.

Our goal: 10,000 hugs and $10,000 for Hawaii's seriously ill children and their families.

You'll make someone's day, and you'll wrap hugs around 1,500 family members throughout Hawaii as they cope with a child's life-threatening illness.

Celebrate #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday promotes the spirit of giving and brings people together to support the causes they care about. When you support HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support), you support Hawaii's children who are living with a serious illness and their families. Donations from the community on #GivingTuesday ensure all programs will continue to be offered to our HUGS families at no charge. Programs include monthly family dinners, respite care, sibling support, hospital outreach, airfare assistance, a food pantry, and more.

#GivingTuesday falls during our first-ever #Hugs4HUGS campaign, so when you support Giving Tuesday, you'll also be supporting #Hugs4HUGS. Go to our Get Involved tab on our website and scroll down to Make a Gift. If you're not an online user, please mail a check to HUGS, 3636 Kilauea Avenue, Honolulu, HI  96816.
